Boise International Airport
It seemed that we were off to a rough start from the beginning. I had woken up at 7:00am on the 29th of June knowing that it was my last day to have all prepared and ready to go. I finally finished up with all that needed to be done, except printing a few documents for students in Rwanda. So I went to bed, actually on the morning of the 30th at 3:30am. However, I didn't fall asleep so got up at 6:00am on July 1st and began to get ready to go.
First, I needed to print the those final papers. NO PROBLEM. I set up my laptop and sent to print. But, the printer was now out of ink. NO PROBLEM.We'll just run by STAPLES on the way to the airport. STAPLES is closed. NO PROBLEM. We'll just run by a STAPLES in Boise near the airport. Print Tech at the Boise STAPLES is not very fast, and then has to re-boot computer, and then has to re-boot machine, and then reboots them both. NO PROBLEM.
Still have time, receive first, "Where are you? call. NO PROBLEM. Not far from the airport. Pull past the airline drop-off point to the wrong end of the terminal. NO PROBLEM. I'll just walk fast. Have to roll, strap, carry and pull five bags from one end of the terminal to the other. NO PROBLEM. come up with creative way of stacking bags and move as quickly as I can. Have to do the self check-in. Asks for scan of my passport. Can't find passport! PROBLEM. Begin to freak out. Finally, find passport. Have to start from beginning. NO PROBLEM. Finally arrive at the counter.
"sir one bag weighs 45 and the other 58."
NO PROBLEM.
"Yes, but together they weigh 103 and the limit is 52 so that's 104 so they are actually under the limit--"
"No", she says,"that's not how it works, so it is $75 or you can move stuff from the bigger suitcase to the smaller suitcase."
NO PROBLEM.
So, now I have both suitcases open in the front of the Delta Airline counter and I'm taking stuff that already fits in the big suitcase and trying to cram it all into the little suitcase. Finally, I lift the bags onto a different scale on the other side of the first counter.
NO PROBLEM. Receive second, "Where are you?" phone call.
Both bags weigh exactly 43.
She says "good job!"
PROBLEM:
I say wait. Together both bags now weigh 86. On the other scale they weighed 103. My bags lost 17 pounds.
"Huh?" She said. Hands me my claim ticket, and adds, "have a good flight."
Finally meet group as they are boarding the airplane to Minneapolis--first leg of the journey!

Okay, so the one thing that I learned at the Boise Airport is that I am good at math. (See previous comment) Not good, like brother is good. But, I can add up some numbers--After all, is there really any purpose for Calculus in this world?
In Middleton, I remember waking up at 7:00am on June 29th--I know this because my Dad was already at my house and made sure to tell be he had already been working for an hour, by himself. That night I worked on Catalyst and Summer Alive printing until 3:30am--did not fall asleep--left on plane A from Boise at 10:30am; the flight was 2 hours and 40 minutes. Then left on plane B from Minneapolis at 3:10pm for Schphol Airport in Amsterdam, where we arrived at 6:25am; flying 8 hours and 15 minutes. Next we left Amsterdam (which should have no problem winning woman's Olympic volleyball--never seen so many 6' to 8' tall blonde women in my life!). We leave at 10:30am for an 8 hour and 35 minutes flight to Kigali, Rwanda.
So, after all of that what I can't seem to figure out is this:
1. How many total hours awake?
2. What day is it where I am at, and what day is where I was?
3. Why do my clothes smell so bad?
